Purwanchal Vidya Mandir - School Program

We had a long cherished desire to provide progressive and comprehensive education to our growing generation irrespective of social status, religion, caste and community. You would be happy to know that we received help, support and co-operation of our patrons and help of the Government to build up an ideal Co-educational English Medium School known as Purwanchal Vidya Mandir.

In July 1998, the foundation stone of Purwanchal Vidya Mandir was laid by our former Hon’ble Chief Minister Shri Jyoti Basu. Our dream is translated into reality because the school has been functioning effectively since establishment with the roll-strength of more than fourteen hundred students / fellows at present.

For the quality education, sense of values, co-curricular activities of wide variety and discipline, the parents and guardians have reposed their confidence and trust in us and we aim and reaching the highest peak of excellence in the near future.

The School is duly approved by the Govt. of West Bengal and affiliated to the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, New Delhi.

We have constructed two more floors on top of the existing School building providing us 20 more class rooms , Computer Laboratory ,Audio-Visual room, Activity room, Exhibition Hall and open space on the protected roof for multipurpose school activities and other programs. We are proud to mention here that there is a great increase regarding demand for admission to our Vidya Mandir.
